On October 26 2021, under the project of ALOY ALOW of Educo Bangladesh, a Divisional Advocacy Meeting was organized by Educo’s partner organization IDEA at Sylhet District Council Auditorium. Md. Khalilur Rahman, Divisional Commissioner, Sylhet Division was present in the meeting as chief guest where Md. Muslem Uddin, Divisional Deputy Director, Primary Education, Sylhet Division, Md. Mamunur Rashid, DD-Local Government and Ms. Shahina Akther, Deputy Director, Department of Women Affairs, Sylhet also graced the event as special guests.

Representatives from district and divisional level government agencies, civil society organizations, Educo Bangladesh and beneficiaries of the project also attended in the meeting.  

The project interventions, success, impacts, and sustainability issues were presented and discussed in the meeting. ALOY ALOW’s integrated program approach and mechanism of addressing the most marginalized communities were greatly appreciated by the government officials as well as civil society members. Educo Bangladesh urges to the Govt. to replicate the success at the other tea gardens for the wellbeing of children as well as the marginalized community.
