An ‘Employer meeting’ was held at FIVDB-Host Multipurpose Centre (MPC), Palongkhali, Ukhiya on 12 September 2022 to create a market linkage for our first batch trainees. Total 35 adolescent participants (sewing -17 ,mobile servicing-18) completed 120 hours trade training under AECID funded project of Educo.

The program was inaugurated by chief guest Md. Ayub Ali, Youth Development Officer, Ukhiya Upazila, Cox’s Bazar. In the event, He said, “the local community should be made self-reliant through various types of technical trainings”. Hatem Ali, Project Manager, Humanitarian Response, Educo explained the objective and importance of vocational training for the humanitarian crisis affected host community adolescent for their resilient livelihood.

Total 10 employers from tailoring and mobile servicing sectors were present and they praised Educo and FIVDB for such event. The employers tested the learning outcomes of the trainings and showed their positive attitude towards engaging them in their job sector when available any post. At the end of the event honorable guests distributed certificates among the trainees.
