Educo, in collaboration with IDEA organized an “Advocacy Meeting” to present all the activities of ALOY-ALOW Project to the key stakeholders of the project, engage them closely with the project, and to sustain the project by bridging the government with the beneficiaries.
The program was held on 8th September,2022 at conference room of the Deputy Commissioner, Moulvibazar. Mr. Mir Nahid Ahsan, Deputy Commissioner of Moulvibazar was the Chief guest in the meeting, and Ms Sahina Akther, Additional District Magistrate, Md. Samsur Rahman, District Primary Education Officer was as special guest. Government officials, ECD Facilitator, Panchayet, Up Chairman, Adolescent & Youth, GPS Teachers, CBCPC & SMC Members, Civil Society & NGOs representatives, and Journalist were present in program. An Advocacy meeting builds up a connecting with the respective line department and creates an opportunity for government support to the beneficiary level.
The chief guest, Mir Nahid Ahsan, Deputy Commissioner said,” “ALOY-ALOW project plays an important role in tea plantation and Haor area through ECD activities. They are taking initiatives to ensure birth registration of children at workplaces along with implementation of education, youth development programs, IGA activities which is highly commendable.”
