On 17 September Dhrubotara Youth Development Foundation (DYDF) in collaboration with Educo Bangladesh and other development partners organized a day long Youth Summit at Krishibid Institute Dhaka.  The main objective of the conference was to educate, empower and unite the youth of Bangladesh in climate change and implementation of SDGs.

The Honorable Speaker of Bangladesh National Parliament, Dr. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury,  MP was the Chief guest meanwhile Mr. Zunaid Ahmed Palak MP, State Minister, Ministry of Information and Technology Science and Mr. Fakrul Imam MP, Member of Parliament were special guest in the occasion.

The focus areas of the summit were SDG & Environment, Blue Economy, 4th Industrial Revolution- ICT & Entrepreneurship, National Youth Council & National Youth Policy Implementation, Minority Rights and Critical Human Rights Issues. 5 youth representatives from Adolescent and Youth Club from the partner organization of Educo Bangladesh have participated in the conference and raised their issues. Above 500 youths from all over the country participated in the conference.

Ms. Halima Akter, Manager, Policy and Advocacy represented Educo as a chair of the panel on Youth Challenges, Reviewing National Youth Policy, and Youth Council Law.
