To mark the ‘National Girl Child Day’ on 30 September 2021, Educo Bangladesh in Collaboration with National Girl Child Advocacy Forum (NGCAF) has organized a press conference on ‘Girl Child Situation report 2021’ at the National Press Club, Dhaka. Dr. Badiul Alam Majumder – President of NGCAF and Country Director of Hunger Project, Nasima Akter Joly – Member Secretary of NGCAF, Farzana Khan – Director of Programs, Educo Bangladesh, and Monika Biswas – Manager, Sponsorship, Actionaid Bangladesh were present in the press conference. Nasima Akter Joly presented the data of the Girl Child situation report (January to August 2021). Farzana Khan in her speech has given emphasis on awareness building and taking care of our girl child from every aspect as they are now in very vulnerable situation and also when, their security is a concern. She also suggested recommendations to the government for implementing the existing laws and policies related to the wellbeing of children as well as drew attention of media to bring preparators in front rather than the victims of any incident.
