Educo Cox’s Bazar team received training on Firefighting, First Aid and Rescue

A two- day training on firefighting, first aid and search and rescue training was organized by Educo and was held on 18-19 September 2022 and conducted by Fire Service and Civil Defense (FSCD), a team of trainers, FSCD Cox’s Bazar facilitated the training, the training had two parts i.e., theoretical and practical. The purpose of this basic fire fighting training was to give participants skills, knowledge and expertise that will enable them to identify the conditions capable of causing fire, know how to use a fire extinguisher, respond appropriately to fire emergencies and follow the fire evacuation plan, adequately implement fire emergency procedures and rescue the wounded and give them first aid before sending to get treatment. Participants were briefed on how they would use fire extinguishers, participants one by one attended in the practical session and it was a successful training.
