Agreement signing ceremony with new partners of Educo Bangladesh

Education and Development Foundation – Educo has signed agreements with its new partners to implement it’s 08 internal funded project throughout the country. The agreement signing ceremonies were held from 25-27 January, 2021.

Through these projects, Educo Bangladesh aims to reach a major part of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged communities of Bangladesh in next 02 years. Brief overview of the projects are as follows:

• Title of the project: Promote Inclusive and Equitable Primary Education for all the Children of GPS in hard-to-reach and Indigenous Communities

Implementing partners: ESDO, SACHETAN

Location: Ranisonkail, Thakurgaon and Godagari, Rajshahi

• Title of the project: Promote Quality Education in the Mainstream Government Primary Schools

Implementing partners: DAM, POPI, ESDO

Location: Dhaka and Narayanganj, Bhaluka, Mymensingh and Kaligonj, Gazipur

• Title of the project: Strengthening Community Resilience to Disaster through School Safety Initiative

Implementing partners: SDS, SAINT-BD and NSS

Location: Shariatpur, Barishal and Borguna

• Title of the project: Promoting Accelerated Learning-opportunities for Young-children in the Remote Areas of Bangladesh- PLAY

Implementing partners: POPI, ESDO and SACHETAN

Location: Bhaluka, Mymensingh, Ranisonkail, Thakurgaon and Godagari, Rajshahi

• Title of the project: Prevention and Elimination of Hazardous Form of Child Labour in Coastal Areas of Bangladesh

Implementing partners: POPI, UTTARAN

Location: Cox’s Bazar and Satkhira

• Title of the project: Advancement of the Indigenous Community through A&Y Development (Indigenous A&Y Development)

Implementing partners: ESDO, SACHETAN

• Title of the project: Adolescent and Youth as an Agent of Change to Promote a Progressive Society (A&Y Development)
