With a view to exploring opportunities of potential partnership with multinational and national private-sector entities for achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Educo Bangladesh held an event at its Country Office on Monday, September 16, 2019. The meeting was attended by 14 organizations all of who are committed to working towards achieving the Global Goals.

The primary objective of the event was to share Educo’s work and to explore opportunities of potential partnership with multinational and national private-sector entities for achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as part of Educo’s Resource Mobilization Strategy.

At the meeting, Educo shared their activities and scope for possible collaboration. The participating institutions highlighted their CSR commitments and focus areas of development support. They also shared their contributions to SDGs and unfolded areas where they have seen opportunities to work together considering their priorities.

“Regardless of the size and industry, all companies can contribute to achieving the SDGs”, said Johny M Sarker, Country Director, Educo Bangladesh. “We all must shoulder the responsibility of shaping a sustainable future”, he added.

Educo has been working in Bangladesh since 1999. Headquartered in Spain, the organization primarily works to ensure education, protection and governance for the development of the children.
